Used for treating patients attending for contraceptive procedures and for those living with HIV requiring blood tests who present with challenging venous access.

Consultant in Sexual Health and HIV Medicine, Nic Pinto-Sander explains:

‘The ultrasound machine was put to immediate use and has already scanned 15 patients in four weeks with another 15 already booked in.

We are increasing the number of trained staff and will be able to expand capacity and create new referral pathways for our clinics, a real benefit to patients with local treatment and shorter wait times.  

We have been inundated with positive feedback which is just so rewarding for us.’
